Epicfest joyfully connects children, books, authors and illustrators through activities that encourage a love of reading and learning. This year's festival includes early learning stations, gaming, face painting, a scavenger hunt, book giveaways, signings and much more.

The Mobile Library seeks to connect people of all ages to Charlotte Mecklenburg Library by lowering access barriers to our services.

Employment Services is ready to assist you in your job search. We have experienced staff to assist with formatting resumes and searching for jobs. We also offer books on careers, online guides to resume writing, computer classes, and regular programs of interest to job seekers. Business, career, and workforce development. Formerly the Job Help Center.

The Library receives most of its operational funding from Mecklenburg County (approximately 90%). Other funding sources, such as the State of North Carolina, the City of Charlotte, and the Mecklenburg ABC Board, make up a small portion of the Library’s operational funding.
