As October draws to a close, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's STEAM Month has ignited a passion for science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. While this month-long event offers a diverse array of learning activities, it's worth noting that the Library's digital literacy resources are available year-round.

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library offers adults the opportunity to earn a nationally accredited high school diploma online through the Excel Adult High School program.

We provide a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners who are looking to expand their career opportunities, prepare for workforce entry or continue their education.

November is National Family Literacy Month, a celebration that has continued nationally since 1994 to raise awareness of the importance of families reading and learning together. Charlotte Mecklenburg Library fosters family literacy daily at all our Library branches and in the community.

Happy International Games Month (IGM)! IGM is an initiative run by volunteers around the world to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games – and CML has done a LOT of gaming so far this November!
