Thanks for your interest in a physical card.  To receive a card, visit your nearest library branch with a photo ID and proof of Mecklenburg County residency. A physical card will be issued at this time. 

We are excited to help you get a library card. If you are a student enrolled with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools you automatically have a ONE Access account which means your student ID number works like a library card number.

All Charlotte Mecklenburg Library locations have voter registration forms available year-round for customers to complete and mail to the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections (BOE).
