This is an ecard account (instant access to all of Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's online resources) until you have visited a branch to verify your identity and Mecklenburg County residency. Once you receive your library card account, you have 30 days to visit a branch to verify your identity and residency. If not verified, then your account will be deleted.

After your identity and residency have been verified at a branch, you will have a full-service account that can be used to access all digital materials and resources, to place holds and check out physical items from any branch.
