Tyler has worked in libraries for over 10 years, both academic and public, with 7 years of that in management where he has infused new ideas and streamlined workflows and has also had the pleasure of training employees. During his Library Science program, he studied abroad in Lisbon, Portugal. He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University and East Carolina University.

This University City Regional branch closes for the final time on February 1 at 5:00 PM. The new University City Regional branch is located at 5528 Waters Edge Village Drive Charlotte, NC. The Grand Opening will be on February 8 from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
The new Sugar Creek Library will double in size and is planned to be located near the Ella B Scarborough Community Resource Center.
