While new to libraries, Tasha Bell has worked in DEI spaces for decades. She has experience working in non-profits, local government, the K-12 school system and in higher education institutions as well. Her very first job was at a local community center and ever since then she’s held professional roles that serve the community. She is excited to learn more from the staff at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and is eager to work alongside them to make the organization more accessible and welcoming.
