Next week (April 8- 14, 2018) is National Library Week, a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries. Charlotte Mecklenburg Library will participate by highlighting different services and programs on social media each day, beginning April 8, using the theme “Libraries Transform®.”
April 9-15 is National Library Week, a time for celebrating libraries of all kinds and especially public libraries, one of our nation’s most enduring, trusted and treasured assets. This year’s theme is “Libraries Transform,” which is so very appropriate.
Libraries are more about doing than borrowing – more about connecting than simply plugging in – and your local librarian is your expert guide. Whether you want to get involved in your community, find a job, get smart about money, or build your digital literacy skills, your library is the key to your transformation.
