Personal Finance Series: Financial Literacy: The Road to Medicare

Come join Sandy Arsenault, a Seniors Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) Trained Counselor, as she presents an overview of Medicare. Choosing a Medicare Plan is important, but often overwhelming, decision.

This program is for those who are close to turning 65; considering retirement; have basic questions about Medicare; or want to sort out Medicare’s relationship with their employer’s group health plan. SHIIP is a free unbiased service administered through the NC Department of Insurance. This course is free of charge and completely non-commercial. Coordinated through AARP North Carolina.This program is part of the Personal Finance Series at Independence Regional Library.
