12:15 @ Main

If you work in Uptown Charlotte, a new program at Main Library is sure to be a 'can't miss' entry on your calendar. 12:15 @ Main takes place, you guessed it, at 12:15 p.m. and runs a brief 30 minutes, which is just enough time to get to the Library, enjoy a program while eating your lunch, and get back to the office.

While the inaugural program on Wednesday, October 25 is a showing of two Buster Keaton silent films with musical accompaniment by pianist Ethal Uslan, the offerings will vary. On November 8, Dr. Kamla Jain will discuss gut bacteria population, and on November 15, attendees can learn about the ambitious new vision for the Carolina Theater.

The Library hopes this new offering will provide a welcoming space for Uptown workers to enjoy lunch while participating in an entertaining, educational or inspirational program. Future offerings will be based on feedback from participants.

Keep an eye out for upcoming program information, and join us for one of the next few 12:15 @ Main programs.
