Grogan, John(2005)
Marley and Me: Life and Love With the World's Worst Dog

When John Grogan and his wife Jenny were growing up they both had great family dogs that made their childhood wonderful. So, it seemed obvious that once they got married they would get a dog of their own. Both envisioned the wonderful, well-behaved dogs of their youth. What they got with Marley, a huge golden Lab, was another story. Marley was probably the worst behaved dog either had ever encountered, but he redeemed himself with his loyalty and love. In Marley and Me John tells Marley`s story complete with the countless home-repairs, ingested items, attempts at obedience school and even Marley`s movie career. If you`ve ever owned a pet, even if it wasn`t wild and crazy, you can relate to this story of how one pet changed his owner`s lives forever.
