Caro, Robert A.(1990) The Years of Lyndon Johnson
I love to read - I read constantly and therefore my favorite book always changes. Lately I have been reading biographies and most recently read Robert A. Caro's trilogy on Lyndon Johnson. I learned a great deal from these three books. Clearly, they are lessons in history, but they also give me an insight into a political leader who did so much in one area of civil rights, but who also made so many bad decisions in his life. From President Johnson 's successes and failures, there is much to be learned.
