Harrison, Michael(1999)
Facing the Dark
Young Adult

When a local cab driver is killed and Simon’s father is convicted of the murder, the teenager cannot believe that his father is involved. He soon meets the murder victim’s daughter and they become an unlikely pair of sleuths who try to discover the truth by revisiting the scene of the crime. This British teen thriller is an intelligent and fast-paced story, reading like a diary written from the alternating perspectives of the two teens. Filled with nail-biting suspense and an edge-of-your-seat plot twist ending, Facing the Dark by Michael Harrison is a satisfying treat for any detective story fan.
