Create a simple worksheet using Microsoft's Excel 2007. Participants must be comfortable with working in the Windows environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word would also be helpful. Audience: Adults

This workshop is a follow up to the introductory class. After a review of the basics, we will discuss formulas, functions, modifying a spreadsheet and charts and graphs. Registration preference is given to those who attend Excel Basics. Audience: Adults

Freedom, Sacrifice, Memory: The Sesquicentennial of the Civil War Exhibit
This exhibit on the third floor of the Main Library displays photographs of the Civil War era in North Carolina. Visitors will see photographs of soldiers and civilians, both historic images and reenacted scenes, from the NC State Library collection Audience: Adults, Seniors, Teens (12-18)
