Five-part series, on Mondays (Jan. 28-Feb. 25). Covers the basic skills to get around in Windows using a mouse, how to use an easy word processing program, create & edit pictures, and an introduction to the Internet. No computer experience necessary. Audience: Adults, Seniors

Coyotes in the Piedmont
Coyotes have migrated to the NC Piedmont and are making appearances in local neighborhoods. Bryan England, Environmental Educator from McDowell Nature Center, will discuss local sightings and how residents can learn to co-exist with them. Audience: Adults

Students in grades k-12 can receive free homework help from Hands On Charlotte volunteers in one-on-one or group setting. Audience: Elementary (5-11), Preteen (8-11), Teens (12-18)

The Library and Hands on Charlotte have partnered together to create a program where highly trained professionals and volunteers provide homework tutoring on all subjects to students in grades k-12. Registration preferred but walk-ins welcome. Audience: Elementary (5-11), Teens (12-18)
