We are forever grateful for your enthusiastic participation in One Book.

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury was chosen as Charlotte Mecklenburg Library’s One Book community read for the week of April 13-19, 2014, coinciding with National Library Week. We encouraged adults and teens throughout the community to read the same book and to attend readings, book discussions and other programs that bring the book’s themes to life.

About Fahrenheit 451: The dystopian novel depicts life in a futuristic city where books are banned and burned. Fahrenheit 451 is available through the Library catalog in various print, digital and audio formats.

The One Book community reading event supports the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library’s mission to create a community of readers and empower individuals with free access to information and the universe of ideas.

Missed it? You can still participate by reading the book and the discussion questions at your leisure.
