Category: Award Books, Humor, Mystery, Read Aloud (This book has outstanding illustrations)

Carrots here; carrots there; carrots
are everywhere. Jasper loves carrots
and couldn’t get enough of them, but
then he noticed something strange was
happening. Carrots were at every turn,
and Jasper couldn’t get away from
them. Were they following him or was
it just his imagination? “Creepy
Carrots” is a great little mystery with
a little twist at the end. The
orange and black illustrations add even
more thrills to this story.

Squish a note, but he doesn’t
understand it. Squish waits at the

I Spy On the Farm
Edward Gibbs (2013) , under 40 pages
Audience: Toddlers, Preschool
Category: Books & Babies, Concept
|
"I spy with my little eye…." This fun
down on the farm cutout book introduces
colors as well as giving clues about
what alphabet letter is at the start of
each word. The pictures are full of
curlicues and speckles, with the
animals drawn in a real to life and
friendly manner. The best part of the
book is at the end, where the book asks
you to spy with your little eye, and it
gives you a hole in the back cover so
that you can spy through the book!
Both you and your toddler will enjoy
this great book!

Category: Humor, Read Aloud (This book has outstanding illustrations)

These adorable brother and sister
piggies are at it again! This time, the
little pigs are supposed to be in bed
sleeping. Instead, they are having too
much fun at bedtime playing lots of
different games from pillow fights to
acting like a choo-choo train. But,
with every creak on the floor, these
playful piggies think Mama is coming to
stop their fun. Will Mama
catch her sneaky kids and make them go
to bed? The catchy rhyming text and
pastel pen, ink and watercolor
pictures capture these silly
piggies in action, as well as their
Mama`s love for them, just perfectly.
