Crossroads Cafe: Free English Classes / Aprenda inglés con Crossroads Cafe
This is a course for students who cannot attend traditional courses or who choose to study English independently. Students receive study materials to study at their own pace, check out books from the library, and meet with a teacher once a week. This program runs from September 15th - November 17th. Classic Films of the Golden Age in Spanish / Grandes Clásicos del Cine de Oro
Enjoy the classic films of the Golden Age Cinema with the entire family! During Hispanic Heritage Month, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library offers free performances of: Cantinflas (El analfabeto, A volar joven), La India María (La presidenta municipal, Okey mister pancho), Pedro Infante (Escuela de vagabundos, El gavilán pollero) and Tin Tan (Viaje a la luna). All films are in Spanish and the titles will vary by location. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Audience: Family/Youth & Caregivers
