Bookplates originated back in the days when books were rare and precious. The owner of the book often glued a bookplate inside it's cover to ensure that book made its way home should it ever be lent, borrowed or missing. Today bookplates come in many varieties. Feel free to print one of ours to use in your own special books. |
Printing Instructions:
All of our bookplates are sized to print nicely (when laid out sideways) on Avery labels # 8164 (3.33" x 4"). Choose an image below to view a full-sized bookplate image that is already turned sideways for your convenience. Use your Internet browser to save the full-sized bookplate image onto your computer. You can find common templates for many software packages that will aid in working with this label on the Avery Web site. Insert the image into the template and print the bookplate for your favorite books. We have also provided a Microsoft Word document with all the bookplates inserted into the Avery template. You must have Microsoft Word installed on your computer to access this document.
